The Literature team is responsible for ensuring adherence to the Conference Approved Literature (CAL) process for developing new literature and for revising existing pieces as authorized by the World Service Conference. The collection of members’ personal sharings for new literature and creation of The Forum is undertaken by this team, as is the review of reprint permission requests. The Associate Director—Literature serves as the Staff Liaison to the Literature Committee, the Literature Coordinators, and the Newsletter Coordinators. The Magazine Editor serves as the Staff liaison to the Forum Editorial Advisory Committee and the Forum Coordinators.

The Publications team is responsible for the production, design, and copyediting of all projects for publication. The team designs new projects, updates existing projects, and provides copyediting services for the office. Projects include new books and pamphlets, The Forum, Conference Summaries, Al‑Anon Faces Alcoholism, Guidelines, and many others.
